For the landscape photo project I chose to take my first pair of photos at the pond by my house. I chose this composition because I wanted to convey the beauty of a naturally occurring pond. Every summer I always swim in to pond and every winter me and my family always clear off the snow and ice skate on it. While I was taking these photos it started to rain, so one difficulty I had was trying to photograph the pond without getting water on the camera lens. One triumph I had was once I figured out how to block the rain I was able to photograph the ripples in the pond.
For my next location I took a photo of the mulberry trees by my house. In the summer the deer from the nearby forest come and eat the berries from the trees. When I took these photos I was trying to convey the different shapes of the trees. One difficulty I had was that it was so gloomy and rainy the day I took these photos. One triumph I had was that the cloudiness made the photos look more interesting.
For my next location I took photos of the morning glories in front of my house. I was trying to convey the beauty of the flower. One triumph was that the rain droplets on the pedals. It added new feelings to the photo itself. It was difficult to photograph the flowers because they are only open in the morning.

I took photos of my the farm field behind my house for my next location. When I took these photos I was trying to convey the colors of corn in the fall. I thought it was interesting because the corn is being harvested right now. One triumph I had was that since it was so gloomy out the corn really popped out against the gloomy sky. One difficulty I had was that it was so dark so I had to brighten up each photo.
For my last location I took photos of the new Sunset Maple tree in my backyard. We recently got to replace the old maple that was chopped down. When I took these photos I was trying to convey the all the different colors of the leafs. One triumph I had was that the rain created a shiny effect to the leaves. One difficulty was the dark and gloominess of the day.
